My heart was crushed, hearing about baby Watt's tragic encounter with a vicious dog on Thursday. Why, oh why, would anyone take a 100-pound-Rottweiler to at 4-year-old's soccer practice? The picture I saw in my mind's eye, after reading that the dog "locked on" to that little guy's face, it was more than I could take. I know I wasn't the only person brought to tears. The incredible PAIN I saw in Edwin's face as he so graciously talked about turning this tragic event into something good, told me volumes about where is heart is. But then, WE KNOW IT, don't we???? That's why we are what we are... do what we do.... stand by and support unconditionally what Edwin does for us. I know that everyone will be praying for Watt. I hope we will all pray without ceasing. Sounds hard, but as a Christian, I have to say..... It's really not. Committed Christians do pray continually, I believe.
Do all you can to raise this little one up, as he recoveres from this traumatic event, and pray for his parents to handle it well for him.
We love you, Edwin, Christy, Benny and Tiller.............. hang in there!
Much love, Angie & Larry
